  • The Setup: 1 qualified medic acting as your primary Trip Leader (onboarding to represent your brand) for up to 12 participants.

  • Best For: Smaller, remote groups where it makes sense to combine experienced expedition leadership with top-tier medical care in one person.

  • How It Helps: You get a single, highly capable leader who manages the group while keeping clinical safety covered from day one with the same environmentally tailored medical kits as our embedded expedition medics.

3️⃣ Complete Telemedicine, Personal Travel Pharmacy & Remote Leader Medical Cover

  • The Setup: 24/7 remote clinical backup for your non-medic expedition leaders. We work with you to align your trip with BS8848 standards, activity, and environment to assess whether this option is appropriate.

    • Best For: Organisers who want absolute peace of mind, emergency clinical support, and CQC-compliant screening without needing an embedded medic on every trip, but still want to offer medical cover as part of their trip package.

    • How It Helps:

      • Consent-Based Screening Insights: We manage participant health screening through our secure portal. With participants' consent, we inform expedition leaders of potential medical risks and requirements that could affect the trip, ensuring your team is fully prepared without breaching confidentiality.

      • 24/7 Doctor Line: Your expedition leaders can call our International Clinicians anytime for clear, calm medical advice, aligned to their scope of practice, when managing an issue on the expedition.

      • Discounted Responder Kits: Partner organisations get exclusive discounted rates on our proprietary FREC 3 Expedition First Responder Kits.

      • Pre-Trip Webinar: A practical, live 30-minute travel health briefing for your group before they head off with one of our expedition medics.

      • Environment-specific travel pharmacy for each participant. We review medical declarations and the trip itinerary, then work with our team of expedition doctors and our pharmacy partner to dispatch prescription medication for each participant before they leave the UK.

      • UK Expedition Doctor Telemedicine: Participants on your expeditions can access our remote doctors on a pay-as-you-go basis during the trip, receive itemised receipts to claim back consultation costs through their personal travel insurance, and access the medications with them until they can access appropriate in-country or home-based healthcare.

4️⃣ Personal Telemedicine Partnerships

  • The Setup: Direct 1-on-1 access to a doctor and tailored medical travel kits for your expedition participants, available on an optional basis, with each participant covering the cost.

    • Best For: Giving participants medical independence while completely transferring clinical liability and participant medical management over to TrailMed.

    • How It Works:

      • UK Expedition Doctor Telemedicine: Participants on your expeditions can access our remote doctors on a pay-as-you-go basis during the trip, receiving itemised receipts to claim back consultation costs through their personal travel insurance.

      • Environment-specific travel pharmacy for each participant. We review medical declarations and the trip itinerary, then work with our team of expedition doctors and our pharmacy partner to dispatch prescription medication for each participant before they leave the UK.

      • Pre-Trip Expedition Consultations: For gold-standard cover, each individual participant can book a pre-trip consultation to discuss their medical conditions, allergies, and concerns with one of our prescribing expedition medics. We can also offer private prescriptions for environmental or activity-based presentations, bespoke to each participant.
